There is a great shortage in good structural engineer. The subject is hard so it's understandable that students are afraid of going into this branch of engineering. Material and stress engineers have great job opportunities. Many of Boeing's job posts will be for structural engineer. You would think that Boeing needs more propulsion or aerodynamic engineers, but you will be surprised. Boeing has contractors building their engine and other airplane parts. Prepare for your future by dedicating your time to this course. Make sure you really get the material being taught in here. Afterward, you can sign up for Advanced Strength of Material to further reinforce your structure skill.

Don't say I haven't warned you when you graduate.
