Review for Dr. Tinney - LECTURE

This review is strictly for Dr. Charles Tinney:

Tests/Quizzes:
Professor Tinney was very thorough in his notes, but I did not think he followed the book. Since most of the lectures do not follow the book, it is wise to go to class for notes. Students will have weekly quizzes that are very similar to the homework. He gave 2 tests at the time that I took this class. The first test covered the first half of the semester and the second test will be comprehensive. The tests were similar to the homework.

Grades:
I believe he uses the Gaussian curve, where only a certain percentage of the class get A, a certain percentage get B, and a certain percentage get C and below. Make sure you stay in the specific percentile for A, B, and C. Don't even worry about your grades, just stay in the percentile range to be safe.
