A tip on the tests
Professor Hans Mark is hands down one of the best professors you will have, and the grade distribution is pretty easy, but don't get lazy on the tests.
Invest in a TI-89 or equivalent calculator, and learn to use the algebra solver. Otherwise you may not finish the test by the end of the time period.
For example:
after simplifying, the bruget range equation may become:
1000=ln(150000/(150000-x))+600
solving by hand, x=(15000*exp(400)-15000)/exp(400)
but you save time by typing into your TI 89
Now try to solve this similar equation:
1000=ln(150000/(150000-x))+600x
