Ravi-Chandar a great lecturer, fair grader
I had Ravi-Chandar and thought the class was challenging but manageable. If you have completed physics 303k, this class should be a cakewalk. If you skip 2/3 of the lecture sessions, you will not get an A
.
I have noticed that my friends are in Roden's section for statics have significantly harder problems than I had to deal with, but I have not taken Roden's class so I can't speak about him as a professor. I'm sure he is excellent.
If you get professor Ravi-Chandar, you will have every opportunity to do great. He is an excellent lecturer, and the discussion sections are run well. Tests and quizzes were fair.
